On Friday, we had a very important visitor to our Broxburn offices; Graeme Morrice, MP for Livingston, popped in to see how we were doing and to gain our perspective on being a SME in West Lothian.
Not only did we discuss the challenges small businesses face in these difficult times, we also considered the support we receive from our local council.
Graeme took time form his busy schedule and explained how Westminster works and we were impressed at how hard Graeme works for West Lothian and his constituents.
We discussed some of the unintended consequences of some of the more recent elements of European employment legislation in the private sector and we put the SME perspective forward passionately, which was well received by Graeme.
