Our organisation first contacted Simple HR as we have no HR expertise within our small organisation . Originally we employed Simple HR to help us deal with a difficult grievance process, this was resolved quickly ensuring the service did not suffer as a consequence of the grievance.

Due to the high standard of service received we have retained Simple HR as our HR advisers. There have been many occasions where we have sought the advice of Simple HR mainly through Kerry Lindsay including the implementation of a staff handbook which incorporated and updated many policies and procedures and creating more up to date staff contracts.

Simple HR also supported us through a  tender process in which we were successful in doubling the size of our organisation. Simple HR then provided advice and practical help in  dealing with a difficult TUPE situation.

Exterity approached Simple HR in 2007 to ensure we were meeting all our minimum legal requirements in terms of HR. Over the last 6 years they have moved from initially providing us with a tailored company handbook and updated contracts, then assisting with final interviews and now they manage the whole recruitment process (including selecting and dealing with recruitment consultants), they now also help us identify HR issues and training needs and then either creating or finding most appropriate solutions or training course to meet that need.

As well as having an experienced HR person on the end of the phone at all times in the last year we have to moved to having someone form Simple HR in our offices every Thursday which means staff have someone to speak to if they want to and importantly for the business in enforces a focus on HR tasks a minimum of once a week.

Simple HR have become our HR department and a very good one at that.

I would highly recommend them to anyone as they have a depth of skills that means if one person is on holiday you are not floundering about wondering what to do in any situation, they are business focussed so while they will ensure you stay on the correct side of the law if you have a problem they will find a solution not tell you it is not possible and most importantly they are a pleasure to work with.
