As you may be aware, there are some big changes to Flexible Working Arrangements on 6th April 2024.
A brief outline of the changes:
Any employee may apply for flexible working hours from the first day of employment.
As an employer, you have a statutory right to consider the request, and reply to the request within a 2 month period.
An employee can now apply for flexible working hours twice in every 12 months.
Dealing with Flexible Working requests is an important part of being a manager so it is imperative that this change is understood.
